It was after effects lecture today, with Alex Hulse and gareth munden. It was a lecture on showing how we could incorporate 3D elements modeled on maya to live action footage when we come to editing on after effects.
To be honest i felt the lecture was very rushed and ever so brief, i wish the talk could of went on for alittle bit longer, but i guess the technique is pretty straight forward to achieve and something that anyone can do!!!
I will also apply these techniques learnt today on my industry project as well, we'll see how that plans out.
After lunch, i wanted to take a copy of the footage i captured with the group, so that i'll get a chance to composite and edit in my own time.
Trying to capture the footage on final cut pro. took forever, i must say Mac. is slow, or it's just because i don't like it!!!!
But eventually i have obtained a copy on my memory stick and will be editing, a trailer sequence in my own time. I know today hasn't nothing to do with the "industrie-exercise" project, but this is what i only concentrated on, and attending other commitments for the rest of the evening....
