As Light As A Leaf...

For my "leaf" scene. I wanted to use this plant to open up my introduction to the ident of the piece.
The research to this part wasn't as heavy and so in depth like the others. Clearly because i already knew how leaves would look and in terms of the colour, was green!!.



Above is a painted image of the leaves that i drew and scanned with a added green backdrop which i found online to enhance the colour and improve on the picture. Kept very simple with alot of shades of green.

Below was how i started off with the leaves, a simple rough sketch for my basic outline.
