Building the arches was probably the longest area in achieving what i wanted. It involved many, many stages, So heres a brief layout in how i approach this.
I began drawing how i would like them to look, after researching them through all the photos i took during my visit. I didn't want to overcomplicate the design otherwise it could interfere with the look of the animation.
The first image below was a first attempt to the design, i realised it look very bulky with uneven edges that didn't look appealing in my eyes.
So the second attempt had more structure to the curves with, more added features such as bricks, and embossed designs.
